The 1970's was dubbed as a time for sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll. It was deemed the sexual revolution. For years sexual innuendos have flooded our magazines, internet, and films. We have become a society obsessed with sex but is this who we really are? Sexual life in the USA has fascinated us all. We ponder questions of sexual orientation and commitment. What about sex is so interesting?

The year 2000 brought with it a whole new era of sexual influences. We see sexy woman adorn the movie screens crying “look at me and my body”. In the past love-making scenes would have been omitted. The audience would have had to of used their imagination in picturing what happened or was about to happen. Now days, sexual scenes are shown will almost full nudity being seen by all. Nothing is left to the imagination anymore. Is this just an American thing or is it worldwide. Most would say that sex has taken over the world. Do we have a sexual mentality all the time?

We've seen an alarming rate of divorces in the last 15 years.

With so much sexual influence being thrown around we wonder how this affects our relationships. Are American men unfaithful due this surge in sexual exploitation? The rate of infidelity has sky rocketed and children born out of wedlock are common place. Often American men in bed don't care about the state of a relationship just as long as the sex is great. Granted we do have those who believe in a committed relationship but these seem to be few and far between anymore.

What about sexual adventure? Are American's sexual analfabets? Is the “typical” way of “making love” to your partner considered old fashioned? Sexual exploration seems to be just as interesting as space exploration. We seem to be looking for that uncharted territory waiting to be explored. What makes sex better in America ? Are American's better like Europeans when it comes to sex? There isn't a straight answer for that. There's no way to determine what makes sex better for one then the other since people have various preferences and styles. You can't say one country is better at sex than another. We're all human which makes us all different.

Sex has been a part of society since the day the world began. It is a way for us to connect with one another as well as a way to reproduce and keep our world going strong. We will always be excited when it comes to sex and we will continue to have sex until we're too old to do so. No matter what, we'll always have questions where sex is concerned. There will never be a right and wrong answer, so I guess we'll just keep on searching.
